The line-up for Canary Wharf’s new arts event – Festival14 – has been unveiled revealing the usual eclectic mix of treats, from surreal funny man Milton Jones to a cycling theatre group performing Shakespeare.

The festival runs from 21-24 July and features live music, theatre, dance, comedy and family activities, most free to attend. The headlines are hip hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash, disco powerhouse Jocelyn Brown and House Gospel Choir.

The main music action will take place at Canada Square Park while the comedy line-up will take up residence at an intimate outdoor theatre venue at Westferry Circus.

Cabaret and story-telling

The extensive range of live music, theatre, dance and comedy will transform the Wharf’s numerous parks, plazas and open spaces as they host a stunning line up of artists and performers from across the world with cabaret, comedy and storytelling at Crossrail Place Roof Garden

When it’s time to refuel, there will be a street food market running daily on Montgomery Square, offering a range of dishes from around the world.

Most of the events are free to attend on a first come first served basis. Some events are ticketed so festivalgoers are encouraged to check out the full programme beforehand.
